Satin is horrible to work with, but I think you pulled it off pretty well...

I have a tip for you when you are using slippery fabrics, if you lay a layer of tissue paper on the surface you are working on, and between the layers of fabric you are working with - it should stop all the sliding.

I've already writen this for the "WoW corset", but I'll write it again:

the corset not supposed to be "tight", the pattern is from the pattern generator on [link]

the victorian corset is supposet to draw in the waist, but the elizabethan corset is sopposed to give you a cylindrical shape...

so to answere your coment: It DOES have the "right" shape, it just doesn't have an "victorian" shape
...and yes, it has LOTS of boning (plastic and wood)
